Fuck Yeah, Green Day!

My brother Roland is in an organization called Destination ImagiNation. It’s a pretty nerdy non-profit organization where kids learn through creativity, problem solving, and teamwork. The teams solve open-ended problems and present their solutions in each level of the tournament. My brother and his team are getting ready for the state competition next week. By some crazy coincidence, they will get past state no matter what (I don’t remember the specifics, but I think it’s something like the top 3 teams go to the next level and there are only 2 competing or something like that). But that means they have to pay for the Global Finals. It is $635 per person, and with a 5 member team, that is $3175 in all. There is NO way these kids can raise that much money selling chocolate or Entertainment Books. One of Roland’s team members set up a Go Fund Me so that people could donate to their cause. If there are 5 kids who deserve this, it’s the Imaginatics. They are amazing kids and they have a magnificent leader. They all feel so strongly about this competition. They are some of the most intelligent people I’ve met and if they don’t get to go to the Global Finals due to a lack of funds, I know they’ll be heartbroken. Please help fund these kids to compete. They deserve it.
